Cloyes Engine Timing Chain Kit P/N:9-0918SAX
Cloyes 9-0738SK6 timing chain kit for the 2013-2016 Ford Taurus V6 3.5L and other vehicles replaces the chains, tensioners, guides and sprockets of the timing drive. It is a variable valve timing (VVT) kit.
A stretched chain or worn guides can show up as a rattle at the front of the engine, rough running or a timing-related warning light. If the engine timing chain kit is what the engine needs, replace the chains, tensioners, guides and sprockets together. Before ordering, check the oil level with the engine off and cool, since low oil can also upset VVT operation; a shop can scan for timing codes.
It fits the 2013-2016 Ford Taurus V6 3.5L and the 2013-2019 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan V6 3.5L, and each needs one kit.
