TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft P/N:HY-86121
TrakMotive HY-8243 front right CV axle shaft for the 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata and other vehicles carries drive torque to the wheel. Its two joints flex with suspension travel.
A torn boot with grease thrown around the joint, clicking while turning or vibration under acceleration can mean the axle is worn. Before you replace it, look over the boots and joints with the engine off for cracks, leaked grease or play, because a wheel bearing or another part can cause similar noises.
This shaft fits the 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata and the 2011-2013 Kia Optima, and the front right side of each takes one. As a 2013 Hyundai Sonata CV axle replacement, the listing covers the front right side only; the front left is a separate part, and the pair on that axle is normally done at the same time.
