Description

Hunting a Corvette harmonic balancer built for spirited driving? The PowerBond by Dayco Engine Harmonic Balancer (PB1117SS) is a race performance balancer that dampens the crankshaft's torsional vibrations to help protect the crank and steady the accessory drive. It's a direct-fit replacement for these V8 applications: 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS (V8-5.7L, V8-6.0L), 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette (V8-5.7L, V8-6.0L, V8-6.2L), 2011-2017 Chevrolet Caprice (V8-6.0L), 2014-2017 Chevrolet SS (V8-6.2L) and 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 (V8-6.0L, V8-6.2L). Steel outer ring with an overall outside diameter of 7.520 in (191 mm).
Neutral balance, no counterweight — for internally balanced applications.
Timing marks and three bolt holes to aid ignition timing and mounting.
Two integrated serpentine pulleys: a 6-groove (7.363 in / 187.00 mm) and a 4-groove (7.087 in / 180.00 mm).

Installation instructions are included. A Woodruff key, mounting hardware and a crank trigger/exciter plate are not included — consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether any originals may be reused. If a worn balancer is behind engine vibration, a wobbling pulley or belt tracking issues, this replaces it. Made in Australia.
