Keep ignition spark and fuel injection timed correctly with the Delphi crankshaft position sensor SS11406, which reports the crankshaft's position and rotational speed to the engine control module. It fits many vehicles as a direct-fit replacement, among them the 2005-2006 Dodge Ram 1500, 2009-2013 Dodge Journey and 2007-2013 Jeep Compass — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine-specific coverage.
- Tested and calibrated to OE standards: validated for accurate readings, which helps reduce comebacks.
- Precise signal: the design reads accurately across the gap between the sensor contact and element.
- Digital output: designed for a strong signal-to-noise ratio, with readings that aren't impacted by temperature changes.
- Enhanced sensing: helps reduce emissions and supports reliability and drivability.
Built to OE-level requirements. Signs the original sensor may be failing include a no-start, intermittent stalling, hard starting, hesitation, or an illuminated check engine light. If a faulty crankshaft position sensor is the cause, this Delphi unit (SS11406) replaces it — diagnose the cause before replacing, since these symptoms can have other sources.
