Delphi Ignition Knock (Detonation) Sensor P/N:AS10330
Delphi AS10017 ignition knock (detonation) sensor for the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L, the 2003-2006 Silverado 1500 V8 6.0L and other vehicles senses engine knock to help guard against engine damage from pre ignition knocking.
A lit check engine light or a pinging noise under load can mean the knock sensor is worn, though its wiring or the engine control module can be behind those signs too.
This knock sensor is also a direct-fit replacement for the 1999-2006 GMC Sierra 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L, the 2001-2006 Sierra 1500 V8 6.0L and the 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe V8 4.8L or 5.3L.
