Delphi Mass Air Flow Sensor P/N:AF10174
Delphi AF10118 mass air flow sensor for the 1996-2000 Ford Ranger V6 4.0L and other vehicles measures the air entering the engine so the engine computer can meter fuel.
A dirty or failing mass air flow sensor can show up as a rough idle, hesitation or poor fuel economy, and a check engine light can come on. Because intake leaks and other faults can look similar, start with the engine off and cool: look over the connector and the intake duct for damage or loose clamps. If a failed sensor is the cause, this probe replaces it.
The 1996-2000 Ford Ranger V6 4.0L, the 1997-1998 Ford Explorer V6 4.0L and the 1998-2000 Mazda B4000 V6 4.0L are covered by this sensor, along with other vehicles, and each takes one. This Delphi MAF sensor is calibrated and tested to match the OE part.
