This FRONT bellows drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Malibu, 2005-2010 Pontiac G6, and 2007-2009 Saturn Aura (see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment). The bellows flexes with the steering rack, sealing the tie-rod end of the gear so the internal grease stays in and contaminants stay out — a torn or cracked original lets abrasive debris reach the rack, so if the boot is the cause of a leak or contamination this replaces it.
