Description

Tighten up your steering and keep the front suspension solidly linked with the Delphi Suspension Ball Joint TC6149 — the front lower Dodge Ram 1500 ball joint that lets the steering knuckle pivot against the lower control arm. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the front lower position on the 2006-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, the 2011-2023 Ram 1500, and the 2019-2023 Ram 1500 Classic (see the Buyer's Guide tab for full engine coverage).

Forged construction: built from high-quality forgings for added strength and smooth operation.
Chloroprene rubber boot: improves durability and helps prevent premature failure by keeping contaminants out of the joint.
Micron-tolerance machining: machined to micron tolerances for durable, smooth joint movement.
Anti-corrosion protection: applied to each part for corrosion prevention and enhanced appearance.

Drawing on Delphi's OE expertise, each joint is validated to withstand temperatures below -40°C and above 120°C plus 720 hours of salt spray, with extensive dimensional and material analysis for close OE-to-aftermarket compatibility. A worn front lower ball joint can produce clunking over bumps or on turns, loose or wandering steering, and uneven front tire wear — if this joint is the cause, replacing it restores the connection.
