Quick facts
- Part: Delphi TC8896 control arm with ball joint
- Also called: control arm and ball joint assembly
- Fits: 2015-2025 Mercedes-Benz C300 and other vehicles
- Position: Front left lower forward
- Condition: New
A clunk over bumps, loose-feeling steering or uneven tire wear can come from a worn ball joint or control arm, but those signs have other causes too, so find the cause before replacing the arm. With the engine off, look the arm and joint over for cracks, bends, rust or leaking grease; checking for play needs the car raised, so leave that to a shop.
Fits
This arm fits the 2015-2025 Mercedes-Benz C300, the 1978-1985 Mercedes-Benz 300CD and the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300C. The 2015-2025 Mercedes-Benz C300 takes one on the front left. This listing is one arm; the front right is a separate part, and the two on that axle are normally replaced at the same time.
