Dorman - Autograde Spindle Nut P/N:615-132
Dorman 615-979 rear spindle nut for the 2003-2009 Chevrolet C4500 Kodiak and other vehicles threads onto the axle spindle to hold the wheel end in place. It replaces an original nut that has gone missing or failed from fatigue.
A loose or wobbling wheel, a hum from the wheel end, or a nut with stripped or damaged threads can mean the spindle nut needs attention. These signs alone do not prove the nut is the problem, since a worn wheel bearing is another common source of noise and play. Have a wheel-end problem inspected promptly rather than driving on it.
The vehicles it fits include the 2003-2009 Chevrolet C4500 Kodiak, the 2003-2009 Chevrolet C5500 Kodiak and the 2003-2009 Chevrolet C6500 Kodiak. Driving something else? Search your own year, make and model in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
