• Rear wheel position: replaces a worn, stripped, or broken lug stud on the rear hub or axle flange.
• Press-fit design: the stud presses into the flange and is drawn up snug with the lug nut.
• Threaded end: accepts the lug nut to clamp the wheel against the hub.

A wheel lug stud provides the threaded anchor that holds the wheel to the hub. Signs it may need replacing include stripped or cross-threaded threads, a stud that spins freely, or one sheared off from over-torquing. If a damaged stud is the cause, this replaces it; inspect the surrounding studs and torque all lug nuts to the vehicle's specification.
