Dorman Door Mirror P/N:955-991
Replace a cracked, broken or dangling driver-side mirror with the Dorman 955-042 Driver Power Door Mirror Assembly. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1999 Chevrolet Astro and 1999 GMC Safari, and it mounts on the left (driver) door.
Dorman reverse engineered this assembly to replicate the original mirror's appearance, fit and operation on the listed vehicles. It arrives as a complete unit with the same mirror glass, housing, bracket and technology as the part originally installed on the vehicle.
As a power mirror, it lets the driver adjust the glass electrically from inside the vehicle. Signs the mirror may need replacing include cracked or missing glass, a broken or loose housing, or glass that no longer moves when you use the mirror control. If the mirror assembly itself is the cause, this unit replaces it.
