Quick facts

Part: Dorman 955-1078 left door mirror
Fits: 2005-2009 Chevrolet Corvette
Position: Left
Material: Plastic
Condition: New

Cracked glass, a loose housing, glass that stays fogged with the heater on or a mirror that no longer moves when you press the adjuster can mean the assembly needs replacing. These signs alone do not prove the mirror is at fault; a blown fuse can stop the adjuster or heater too.

Fits

This mirror is made to look, fit and function like the original mirror assembly on the 2005-2009 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette takes one left mirror; this listing is that left side, and the right side of the car is a separate part.

Buyer's Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Dorman 955-1078 left door mirror fit the 2005-2009 Chevrolet Corvette?

Yes. Dorman 955-1078 is the left-side mirror for the 2005-2009 Chevrolet Corvette, and the Corvette takes one on that side.

Does this heated power mirror come with its wiring harness?

Yes, the wiring harness is included with the mirror assembly. The box holds one mirror assembly, and mounting hardware is not part of it.

Is the glass on this left mirror heated and electrically adjusted?

Yes. Dorman 955-1078 has heated, clear, rectangular glass that adjusts electrically, set in a black plastic housing.

How can I tell if the heater or adjuster on my mirror has failed?

With the car parked, look for cracked glass or a loose housing; in normal driving, glass that stays fogged with the heater on or does not move with the adjuster can point to a fault, and a shop can test the wiring.

Do I need special tools to install this heated mirror?

No. Dorman 955-1078 needs no special tools or equipment and attaches with screws, which are not included.
