Description

Replace a cracked, loose or unresponsive driver's-side mirror with the Dorman Door Mirror 955-499, a heated power door mirror assembly for the left side of the 2002-2007 Ford Taurus and 2002-2005 Mercury Sable. Dorman reverse engineered it to look, fit and work like the original mirror on these listed applications.

Key features:

Complete assembly: includes the same mirror glass, housing, bracket and technology as the original mirror that came on the vehicle.
Original look and fit: designed to look, fit and function exactly like the factory door mirror.
Cost-effective: functions much like the original part while costing considerably less than a replacement from the dealership or original manufacturer.
Easy installation: no special tools or equipment are needed to install this new part.

A door mirror holds the glass the driver uses to watch traffic beside and behind the vehicle. The power function lets the glass be adjusted from inside the cabin, and the heating element is designed to help clear frost and fog from the glass. Signs this part may need replacing include cracked or missing glass, a broken or loose housing, glass that no longer moves with the switch, or a heater that no longer warms the glass. A faulty switch or wiring can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing the mirror. This listing is for the driver-side (left) mirror. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for full fitment details.
