This direct-fit rear wheel cylinder drops in on the 2009-2011 Chevrolet Cheyenne, 2009-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2010-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, and 2009-2013 GMC Sierra 1500. It converts brake-line pressure into mechanical force, pushing its pistons outward to press the brake shoes against the drum; if a leaking or seized wheel cylinder is behind a soft pedal or a dragging rear brake, this replaces it.
