Description

Keep your vehicle held securely when parked with the Dorman - First Stop Parking Brake Cable C661292. This cable transmits the parking brake lever or pedal input to the brake, applying the holding force that keeps the vehicle stationary once set. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the rear right position on the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Equinox [All] and 2007-2009 Pontiac Torrent [All], and Dorman engineered and tested it to reproduce the original cable's fit, function, and performance on those applications.

Quality design: the inner cable is sheathed and lubricated for improved durability and smooth operation.
Long-lasting construction: the flexible casing is completely covered with conduit to protect the interior cable from wear.
Tough materials: zinc-plated fittings resist corrosion, with steel and rubber construction and a black rubber jacket.
Included: a mounting bracket is supplied; mounting hardware is not included — consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.

Specs: 7-gauge wire, 19-strand cable, 76.18 in conduit length, and a 12.2 mm jacket diameter. Signs this cable may need replacing include a parking brake that won't hold, a seized or sticking cable, or visible fraying and corrosion. Country of origin: India.
