If you need a 2000 Ford Explorer outside door handle replacement, this handle is listed for that model year. The outside handle is the exterior grip you operate to release the door latch from outside the vehicle. Signs it may need replacing include a cracked or snapped handle, a handle that feels loose, or one that moves but does not release the door. A disconnected latch rod or a faulty latch can cause similar symptoms, so inspect the door before you replace the handle. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list of vehicles.
