Description

If a snapped-off or missing lever is keeping you from adjusting your seat back, the Dorman HELP Seat Back Recliner Adjustment Handle, part number 97710, is a direct-fit replacement for the front right seat that is designed to bring back recline control and a finished look. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

Ideal replacement: Dorman designs this seat adjuster handle to fit and work like the original handle on the listed applications, in the front right position.
Durable construction: Dorman makes this handle from quality materials intended for a long service life.
Cost-effective solution: It provides original equipment function at a competitive price.
Quality tested: The part has been through try-on testing to confirm a quality fit.

The recliner adjustment handle is the lever you use to operate the seat back recliner, so the seat back can be released and set to a new angle. A cracked, broken or missing handle can make the recliner hard or impossible to operate, and it leaves the seat looking incomplete. If the handle is the failed piece, this part replaces it. If the recliner mechanism itself is faulty, a new handle alone may not correct the problem.
