Dorman - OE Solutions Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Bracket P/N:905-671
Tighten up a sloppy column shifter with the Dorman - OE Solutions Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Bracket 905-670, the bracket that connects the shift lever to the shift cable. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, 2010 Dodge Ram 2500, 2010 Dodge Ram 3500, 2011-2018 Ram 1500, 2019-2021 Ram 1500 Classic, 2011-2018 Ram 2500, and 2011-2018 Ram 3500 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.
On many of these trucks the factory bracket is cast from soft aluminum and held by just a single bolt. The repetitive motion of gear selection stresses that bolt, letting it loosen and introduce play into the shifter; trying to snug it down can strip the threads and crack the weak bracket. If a failed or worn shift bracket is the cause of your loose or inoperable column shifter, this Dorman OE FIX unit replaces it.
What does this bracket do?
It connects the column-mounted shift lever to the shift cable, transmitting your gear-selection motion. If a worn or failed bracket is the cause of a sloppy or inoperable shifter, this replaces it.
How is it better than the original bracket?
It's made from a higher-grade, more durable aluminum alloy and uses a sturdier double-bolt design that more effectively distributes the stresses of shifting than the OE single-bolt cast bracket.
Will it fit my truck?
It's a direct-fit replacement for 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, 2010 Ram 2500/3500, 2011-2018 Ram 1500/2500/3500, and 2019-2021 Ram 1500 Classic. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your vehicle.
Does it include the shift interlock solenoid?
No. If you also need the shift interlock solenoid that attaches to the bracket, order Dorman part number 905-671, which includes both the bracket and the solenoid.
Are mounting bolts included?
Consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused. This bracket uses a two-bolt design to secure the shift lever.
