The Dorman 946-500 rear drive shaft for the 2014-2018 Ram 4500 and 2014-2018 Ram 5500 with the 6.4L V8 is a 2-piece steel assembly that carries engine power back to the rear axle.

Arrives fully assembled and dynamically pre-balanced, ready for a fast install.
Drawn over mandrel (DOM) steel tubing with no weld seam gives better concentricity and a uniform wall thickness.
DOM tubing has more torsional strength and dent resistance than standard welded steel.
Built with all-new tubing, yokes and U-joints.
Ships in foam-in-place packaging so it reaches you in install-ready condition.
