Dorman - OE Solutions Drive Shaft P/N:986-986
Dorman 986-031 rear drive shaft for the 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger carries engine power from the transmission to the rear axle. This Dorman drive shaft is a two-piece steel assembly with a CV joint at each end.
A worn or out-of-balance drive shaft can show up as a vibration that rises with speed or a clunk when the car takes up drive. Those signs alone do not prove the shaft is the problem, since out-of-balance tires can cause a similar vibration.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger, which takes one.
