Dorman - OE Solutions HVAC Control Module P/N:599-210XD
Dorman 599-218 front control module for the 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L or 5.3L and other vehicles replaces a climate control module that has stopped working. This Dorman HVAC control module looks and works like the original unit on the vehicles it fits.
If the climate controls stop responding, a button does nothing or the settings no longer change airflow or temperature, the module can be worn. The blower motor resistor or a blend door actuator can be behind the same signs, so find the cause before replacing the module.
Other vehicles it fits include the 1999-2002 GMC Sierra 1500 V6 4.3L, V8 4.8L or 5.3L, the 2001-2002 Sierra 1500 V8 6.0L, the 1999-2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 V8 5.3L and the 1999-2002 Silverado 2500 V8 6.0L, each taking one module.
