The bellows boot seals the ends of the steering rack so outside contaminants can't reach the internal assembly — if a torn or missing boot is letting debris in, this replaces it and helps guard against the premature rack wear that contamination causes. Dorman reverse-engineers this kit to the fit and function of the original boot on the listed vehicles for a direct-fit install.
