Dorman - OE Solutions Spare Tire Hoist P/N:924-515
Dorman 924-512 spare tire hoist for the 2005-2012 Ford Escape and other vehicles raises, holds and lowers the spare tire. It replaces a hoist that has rusted out or corroded.
A rusted or corroded hoist, or a spare tire that will not raise or lower, can mean the hoist needs replacing. With the engine off, look at the hoist and cable only where you can see them without raising the vehicle or getting under it, to judge whether the hoist itself is at fault, and leave the rest to a shop. The 2005-2012 Ford Escape takes one hoist.
This hoist fits the 2005-2012 Ford Escape and the 2005-2011 Mercury Mariner as a direct replacement for the stock hoist.
