Replace a worn front right wheel bearing and hub without wrestling a hydraulic press using the Dorman - OE Solutions Loaded Knuckle (Steering Knuckle Kit with Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly) 686-422. This pre-assembled front right loaded knuckle installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2022 Buick Encore [All] and 2013-2022 Chevrolet Trax [All], with one assembly used per side.

  • Pre-pressed assembly: the complete loaded knuckle arrives with the necessary components already installed and ready to bolt on right out of the box.
  • No press needed: the hub and bearing come pre-installed, so a complete bearing repair can be handled without a hydraulic press or buying multiple separate parts — faster and more predictable for shops and DIYers.
  • Hardware in the box: includes the loaded knuckle plus a washer, bolt, nut, and axle nut; five wheel studs (M12x1.5) and a 25-spline hub are already fitted.
  • Build: iron construction with a painted black finish; Gen 1 ball-type wheel bearing with an integrated ABS encoder. Not pre-greased.

The five-bolt flange uses a 105 mm bolt circle. Designed in the United States; country of origin: China.

Frequently Asked Questions

What vehicles does the 686-422 loaded knuckle fit?

It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2022 Buick Encore [All] and 2013-2022 Chevrolet Trax [All]. One assembly is used per side.

What comes in the box?

The loaded knuckle with the hub, Gen 1 ball bearing, and five M12x1.5 wheel studs pre-installed, plus a washer, bolt, nut, and axle nut.

Do I need a hydraulic press to install it?

No. The bearing and hub are pre-pressed into the knuckle, so you can complete the repair without a press or assembling multiple separate components.

What are signs this bearing and hub may need replacing?

A humming or grinding noise from the wheel, play or looseness at the hub, or an ABS warning can be signs. Diagnose the cause first, since these can have other sources.

Which side is this assembly for?

It is the front right unit. If you're replacing both sides, order the corresponding left-side assembly separately.
