Dorman - OE Solutions Steering Knuckle P/N:698-149
Dorman 698-197 front left steering knuckle for the 1997-2003 Ford F-150 and other vehicles connects the wheel to the suspension. This Dorman steering knuckle is precision-engineered and tested as a direct replacement for the original knuckle.
Clunking, uneven tire wear, or steering and alignment trouble can mean a knuckle is damaged, for example after a curb strike, pothole or collision. Before you replace the knuckle, rule out worn bushings and alignment problems, which can produce similar noise and tire wear.
This steering knuckle also fits the 1997-2002 Ford Expedition and the 1997-1999 Ford F-250. If your vehicle is not named here, look for its year and model in the "Vehicles it fits" section on this page. This listing is one knuckle for the front left, with one on each side of the front axle; the front right is its own part and is normally replaced at the same time.
