This unit ships with a factory-sealed Dorman tie rod boot that helps keep dirt and moisture out of the joint, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer and 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Outlander (All engines). The tie rod end links the steering linkage to the knuckle so input from the wheel turns the front wheels.
