Dorman - OE Solutions Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:522-489
Dorman 522-148 front right lower control arm with ball joint for the 2008-2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport and other vehicles connects the steering knuckle to the frame and carries the ball joint. Sold as a Dorman suspension control arm and ball joint assembly, it comes with the ball joint and bushings already installed.
A clunk over bumps, uneven tire wear or loose steering can mean this arm, its bushings or its ball joint are worn, though a worn sway bar link or tie rod end can produce some of the same signs, so find the cause before replacing anything. There is one arm on each side of the front axle. This listing is the front right one, the front left is a separate part ordered on its own, and the two sides are normally replaced as a pair.
It is a direct replacement for the original equipment on the 2008-2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport, the 2008-2010 Saturn Vue and the 2007-2009 Suzuki XL-7.
