Dorman - OE Solutions Vapor Canister P/N:911-272
Keep fuel vapors contained where they belong with this Dorman evap canister, part number 911-265. This evaporative emissions charcoal canister is a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2007 Saturn Vue, and it is made to match the original equipment evap canister on that application. Engine-by-engine fitment is listed in the Buyer's Guide tab.
In the evaporative emissions (EVAP) system, the canister collects fuel vapor vented from the tank and holds it in its charcoal. The system later purges that vapor into the engine to be burned. If a cracked, saturated or failed canister is behind an EVAP fault, this Dorman vapor canister is designed to replace it and help return the emissions controls to proper working order.
Signs a vapor canister may need replacing include a check engine light with an EVAP-related code, a raw fuel smell around the vehicle, trouble filling the tank, or visible cracks or damage on the canister housing. Other EVAP components can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing any part.
