Dorman - OE Solutions Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid P/N:911-513
Dorman 911-501 vapor canister vent solenoid for the 1998-2001 Nissan Altima 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles controls the vent on the evaporative emissions canister. It is also called an evaporative emissions canister vent valve.
An EVAP-related check engine light can come from this valve, a cracked vapor hose or a loose connector. With the engine off and cool, start by looking over the valve, its connector and the hoses for cracks or a loose fit; a shop can run the EVAP leak test. If the vent solenoid is the cause, this part replaces it.
This vapor canister vent solenoid is a direct replacement for the 1998-2001 Nissan Altima 4-cylinder 2.4L, the 1998-2001 Nissan Frontier 4-cylinder 2.4L, the 1999-2001 Frontier V6 3.3L, the 1998-2000 Nissan Pathfinder V6 3.3L and the 2001 Pathfinder V6 3.5L. If your vehicle is not named here, look up its year, model and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
