Dorman - OE Solutions Window Regulator P/N:749-717
Dorman 749-460 front left window regulator for the 1997-2001 BMW 740i and other vehicles raises and lowers the door glass in the front left door.
A power window that moves slowly, grinds or drops inside the door can mean the regulator is worn. These signs alone do not prove the regulator is the problem, since a weak window motor can cause them too.
It fits the 1997-2001 BMW 740i, the 1995-2001 BMW 740iL and the 1995-2001 BMW 750iL. Dorman reverse-engineered it to the original equipment shape and dimensions for a direct fit. There is one regulator per door: this listing is the front left, and the front right door takes its own regulator, which is ordered separately.
