Do the rotors need cleaning before installation?
No. GEOSPEC coated rotors are processed dry, shipped dry, and ready to install without pre-degreasing. The coating is safely swept away by the friction material during bed-in.
Should I replace both sides at once?
This kit supplies the rear axle. Replacing both sides together as a matched set is best practice for even, balanced braking.
