Refresh your rear brakes in a single order with the Dynamic Friction brake kit 4512-40159, which pairs DFC GEOSPEC coated rotors with DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic brake pads and a matching hardware kit. It is a direct-fit rear application for many vehicles, among them the 2011-2018 Ram 2500, 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2011-2018 Ram 3500. • GEOSPEC coated rotors: A special paint forms a silver-gray finish designed to fight rust better than conventional paint or zinc coatings. The rotors are processed and shipped dry, so they need no pre-degreasing before installation.
• Cast iron to spec: The rotors are formulated to the G3000/G11H18 cast iron specification and machined to tight tolerances. A non-directional finish promotes faster pad bed-in and smoother stops, and every rotor passes a 100% inspection of its critical attributes.
• DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic pads: The pads are 100% post cured for stable friction performance, then scorched to remove uncured bonding agents so the initial break-in period is minimized. Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims help reduce noise, vibration and harshness, and the formulation is asbestos-free.
• Hardware kit: PTFE coating, vulcanized rubber and stainless steel are combined in one kit, with rubber-coated abutment clips, to help reduce noise, vibration and premature wear.

DFC formulates the pads for each specific axle to help maintain balanced braking, which matters on vehicles with ABS. The rotors are designed to meet the same form, fit and function as OEM brake rotors, and no modifications are required. Each rotor carries a 12-month warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
