Dynamic Friction Company Disc Brake Kit P/N:4512-99084
Bundle your rotors, pads, and hardware in a single box with the Dynamic Friction Company Disc Brake Kit 4512-59177. This DFC Complete Brake Kit pairs GEOSPEC-coated brake rotors with DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic pads and a matching disc brake hardware kit, giving you the major wear components for a brake job in one package. See the Buyer's Guide tab for confirmed applications.
GEOSPEC coated rotors: cast from the G3000/G11H18 cast iron specification and finished with a special silver-gray coating that fights rust better than conventional paint or zinc coatings. Each rotor is machined with a non-directional finish to promote faster pad bed-in and smoother stops, and ships ready to install with no pre-degreasing needed.
DFC 5000 ceramic pads: 100% asbestos-free and scorched to remove uncured bonding agents, minimizing initial break-in. Premium Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims are added to improve noise, vibration, and harshness characteristics for quiet, low-dust, consistent pedal feel during everyday street driving.
Hardware kit: combines PTFE coating, vulcanized rubber, and stainless steel, with rubber-coated abutment clips, designed to the same form, fit, and function as OEM hardware to help reduce noise and premature wear.
For even, balanced braking, service both sides of the axle together as a matched set.
What comes in this brake kit?
The kit includes DFC GEOSPEC-coated brake rotors, DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic brake pads, and a matching disc brake hardware kit to complete your brake job.
What is the GEOSPEC coating?
It's a special silver-gray paint finish applied to the rotors that fights rust better than conventional paint or zinc coatings. The pads sweep it away during use.
Are the brake pads ceramic?
Yes. The DFC 5000 Advanced pads are a 100% asbestos-free ceramic formulation with Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims for improved noise, vibration, and harshness on everyday street driving.
Do the rotors need to be cleaned before installation?
No. Each GEOSPEC rotor is processed dry, shipped dry, and ready to install with no additional pre-degreasing preparation required.
Should I replace both sides at once?
For even, balanced braking it's best to service both sides of the axle together as a matched set. Confirm this kit fits your vehicle before ordering.
