Do the rotors need cleaning before install?
No. The GEOSPEC coated rotors are processed dry and shipped dry, so they are ready to install with no additional pre-degreasing. The coating is safely swept away by the friction material.
Should I replace both sides at once?
For even, balanced braking it's best practice to replace the pads and rotors on both sides of the axle together as a matched set. Do this for the front axle this kit covers.
