Dynamic Friction 4512-99241 front brake kit for the 2013-2019 Ford Explorer and other vehicles gives the front axle GEOSPEC coated rotors and 5000 ADVANCED ceramic pads. The pads press against the rotors to slow the vehicle, and this disc brake kit adds the hardware that goes with them.

Squealing or grinding under braking, a pulsing pedal, or grooves and heavy rust on the rotor faces can mean the front brakes are worn. A sticking caliper can cause some of the same signs, so look over the pad thickness and rotor faces during a brake service, with the engine off and the brakes cool, before you choose a kit.
