What is the GEOSPEC coating?
A silver-gray paint coating applied to the rotors that fights rust better than conventional paint or zinc coatings. The pads safely sweep it away from the friction surface during bed-in.
What are the rotors made of?
They're cast to the G3000/G11H18 iron specification and machined with a non-directional finish to promote faster, more even pad bed-in and smoother stops.
Do the pads need a break-in period?
The DFC 5000 pads are post-cured and scorched to remove uncured bonding agents, which minimizes the need for an initial break-in. Follow the recommended bed-in procedure for best results.
