Renew the front and rear brakes on a 2013-2015 Subaru BRZ or a 2011 Subaru Impreza with the Dynamic Friction 4514-13037, a BRZ brake kit that packages DFC GEOSPEC coated rotors, DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic brake pads and hardware together. Each component is designed specifically for its application, and no modifications are required.

• GEOSPEC coated rotors: Formulated with the G3000/G11H18 cast iron specification and designed to meet the same form, fit and function as OEM brake rotors. The silver-gray GEOSPEC coating provides corrosion protection beyond zinc or conventional paint. The rotors ship dry, so no pre-degreasing is needed, and the pad friction material sweeps the coating away.
• Precision machining: 100% precision cut and mill-balanced, with a non-directional finish that promotes faster pad break-in and smoother stops.
• DFC 5000 Advanced ceramic pads: This asbestos-free friction is formulated specifically for each axle to maintain balanced braking, which is critical for vehicles with ABS and automated braking. The pads are 100% post cured, then scorched to remove uncured bonding agents, which minimizes the initial break-in period. Rubber-steel-rubber shims help improve NVH (noise, vibration and harshness).
• DFC hardware kit: Combines PTFE coating, vulcanized rubber and stainless steel with rubber-coated abutment clips. It helps reduce noise, vibration and premature wear, and helps minimize drag.

Brake hardware is often overlooked. Within 1-2 years it can become stressed, fatigued or corroded, which can lead to reduced spring tension, excess caliper movement, uneven wear and noise. This kit replaces the hardware along with the rotors and pads in one job. The kit is designed to deliver a consistent pedal feel.
