What is the GEOSPEC coating?
A special silver-gray paint finish on the rotors that provides corrosion protection over zinc and conventional painting. Rotors ship dry and ready to install with no degreasing needed.
What are the pads made of?
The DFC 5000 ADVANCED pads use a 100% asbestos-free ceramic formulation, post-cured and scorched, with Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims for improved noise, vibration, and harshness characteristics.
Do I need to prep the rotors before installing?
No. The rotors are processed dry and shipped dry, so no additional degreasing preparation is needed. The coating is swept away by the friction material during use.
