Description

Built for consistent pedal feel with low dust and low noise, the Dynamic Friction Company DFC 4000 HybriDynamic Brake Pads, part number 4000-1779-00, are designed for everyday braking at the rear axle. This direct-fit replacement is listed for several models, among them the 2015-2022 Volkswagen Passat, 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf and 2017-2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.

The HybriDynamic formulation is meant to take the guesswork out of choosing a pad material. It pairs consistent pedal feel and responsive braking with low dust and low noise, which suits it to daily driving. This disc brake pad set uses a 100% asbestos-free and copper-free formulation.

Consistent pedal feel: designed to deliver steady pedal feel and strong brake response.
Stable friction: designed to perform consistently across a wide temperature range.
Rotor-friendly: formulated for longer rotor and pad life.
Quiet operation: engineered to reduce noise and vibration.
Extended durability: built for an extended service life.

If worn rear pads are behind squealing, grinding or longer stops, this set replaces them. Replacing the pads on both sides of the axle together is recommended for even, balanced braking.
