Dynamic Friction Company Disc Brake Rotor P/N:604-73062
Dynamic Friction 600-73062 front brake rotor for the 2011-2018 Audi A8 Quattro and other vehicles gives the front brake pads a vented surface to clamp and slow the wheel. This disc brake rotor comes new in the box, ready to install with no modifications required.
A worn rotor can show up as brake pedal pulsation, shaking under braking or grooves in the friction surface. If the rotor is the cause, this one replaces it, but worn pads or a sticking caliper can produce similar symptoms. During a brake service, look the surface over for cracks and grooves and measure its thickness against the discard figure below.
It fits the 2011-2018 Audi A8 Quattro and the 2014-2017 Audi SQ5 on the front axle. The other rotor on that axle is normally replaced at the same time.
Fit and size
Build and materials
One brake rotor. The vehicle takes two for the front axle.
Are these Audi SQ5 brake rotors for the 2014-2017 model years?
Yes. Dynamic Friction 600-73062 is a front rotor for the 2014-2017 Audi SQ5, and it also fits the 2011-2018 Audi A8 Quattro.
Is this Dynamic Friction brake rotor vented or solid?
It is vented. Dynamic Friction 600-73062 has a vane configuration meant to help dissipate heat.
How big is this front rotor across, and what is the center hole?
It measures 380 mm across with a 68 mm center hole. It has 5 lug holes of 15.3 mm each on a 112 mm bolt circle.
At what thickness should this rotor be replaced?
The nominal thickness is 36 mm and the discard thickness is 34 mm. Measure it with a micrometer during a brake service, with the car off and the brakes cool.
What does the non-directional finish on this rotor do?
The surface has no rotation direction. The finish is made to promote faster break-in and smoother stops.
