It ships new in the box and ready to install, with no modifications required, and each rotor is quality tested. The rotor gives the brake pads a friction surface to clamp against and turns the vehicle's motion into heat to slow it down. For even, balanced braking, we recommend replacing both rear rotors together as a matched pair.
Signs a rotor may need replacing include a pulsating brake pedal, vibration or grinding when braking, and visible scoring or grooves on the braking surface. Diagnose the cause before replacing parts.
