Dynamic Friction Company Disc Brake Rotor P/N:600-03020
Built for smooth, even stops, the Dynamic Friction Company GEOSPEC Coated Front Brake Rotor, part number 604-03020, is a blank-face rotor CNC-machined to the tightest tolerances. Dynamic Friction designed it to meet the same form, fit and function as OEM brake rotors. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2005-2015 Hyundai Sonata, 2011-2016 Kia Optima and 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
As a disc brake rotor, it gives the brake pads the surface they clamp against to slow the wheel. Each rotor is quality tested. Signs that a rotor may need replacing include a pulsating brake pedal, vibration when braking, and a scored or grooved braking surface. Replacing both front rotors together as a matched pair is recommended for even, balanced braking.
Is this a 2005-2015 Hyundai Sonata brake rotor, and does it fit 2015 models?
Yes. It fits the front of the 2005-2015 Hyundai Sonata, including 2015 models. Check the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
Will it fit as a 2011-2016 Kia Optima brake rotor or on a 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson?
It is listed as a front rotor for the 2011-2016 Kia Optima and the 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson. The Buyer's Guide tab shows every listed vehicle.
What is this rotor made of?
Dynamic Friction uses premium G3000/G11H18 iron castings for strength, stability and durability, and adds a GEOSPEC coating for corrosion protection.
Do I need to degrease it before installing?
No. It comes ready to install without pre-degreasing. Follow your vehicle's service procedure for the rest of the brake job.
What are signs my front rotors may need replacing?
A pulsating pedal, vibration when braking, grinding noise, or a scored or grooved surface can point to worn rotors. Have the brakes inspected to confirm the cause.
