Bring dependable rear drum braking back to your classic bus with the Dynamic Friction Drum Brake Shoe Set 1901-0298-00. These premium service shoes install as a direct-fit rear replacement for the 1963-1970 Volkswagen Transporter — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details. Each shoe carries a semi-metallic friction lining that presses outward against the inside of the brake drum to slow the wheel.

• 100% new carbon steel: the shoes are dipped in a high-temp anti-rust black paint for corrosion resistance.
• Semi-metallic lining: bonded or riveted per OE specifications, with glue lining and treatment for solid friction-material-to-steel bonding.
