Keep your rear drum brakes gripping smoothly with the Dynamic Friction Company Drum Brake Shoe Set 1901-0569-00. These new, semi-metallic premium service shoes press against the drum to slow the wheel when you brake. The set fits many vehicles, among them the 1979-1993 Ford Mustang, 1983-1994 Ford Ranger and 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II. It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. • Semi-metallic lining: The friction material is semi-metallic. It is bonded or riveted to the shoe according to OE specifications.
• Lining bond: A glue lining and a treatment process help the friction material bond to the steel shoe.
• Precision arc ground: The linings are arc ground for accurate shoe-to-drum fitment.
• Protected steel shoes: The shoes are made from 100% new carbon steel. They are dipped in a high-temperature anti-rust black paint for corrosion resistance.

The shoes are field and lab tested for reliability. Attachment hardware (levers and pins) is included where applicable.

Your rear brake shoes may need replacing if you notice grinding or scraping from the rear wheels, longer stopping distances, or a parking brake that needs more lever travel to hold. Inspect the drums and brake hardware during the job. Replacing the shoes on both rear wheels at the same time is recommended for balanced braking.
