Dynamic Friction Company Parking Brake Shoe P/N:1902-0770-00
Keep your vehicle held securely in place with the Dynamic Friction Company Parking Brake Shoe (P/N 1902-0811-00), a direct-fit rear parking brake shoe for the 2002-2017 Ford Expedition and 2003-2017 Lincoln Navigator. As the emergency/parking brake is applied, the shoe expands against the inside of the rear drum to keep the vehicle stationary — see the Buyer's Guide tab for full engine-level fitment.
Attachment hardware such as levers and pins is included where applicable. Because parking brake shoes wear as a set, replace both sides together for even, balanced holding. If a worn or contaminated rear parking brake shoe is the cause of a parking brake that won't hold, this replaces it.
What vehicles does this parking brake shoe fit?
It is a direct-fit rear parking brake shoe for the 2002-2017 Ford Expedition and 2003-2017 Lincoln Navigator. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the exact fit for your vehicle.
What is this parking brake shoe made of?
The shoe is 100% new carbon steel dipped in high-temp anti-rust black corrosion paint, with semi-metallic friction material bonded or riveted per OE specifications.
Is mounting hardware included?
Attachment hardware such as levers and pins is included where applicable. Confirm what your vehicle needs and reuse or replace hardware as directed by the service procedure.
Should I replace both parking brake shoes at the same time?
Yes. Parking brake shoes wear together, so replacing both sides as a matched set helps maintain even, balanced holding force.
What are signs my parking brake shoes may need replacing?
A parking brake that won't hold on a grade, requires excessive lever/pedal travel, or worn or contaminated friction material can be signs the shoes may need replacing. Diagnose the cause before replacing.
