Dynamic Friction Company Parking Brake Shoe P/N:1902-0964-00
$46.99

Hold your parked vehicle securely with the Dynamic Friction Company Parking Brake Shoe (P/N: 1902-0964-00, also written 1902096400). This rear parking brake shoe presses its friction lining against the inside of the brake drum when the parking brake is applied, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2012 Hyundai Elantra and 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level applications).

  • Carbon steel construction: 100% new carbon steel dipped in high-temp anti-rust black paint for corrosion resistance.
  • Semi-metallic friction: lining bonded or riveted per OE specifications, with glue lining and treatment to promote friction-material-to-steel bonding.
  • Precision arc-ground: shoes are arc-ground for proper shoe-to-drum fitment.
  • Tested build: field and lab tested for reliable performance.

Attachment hardware such as levers and pins is included where applicable. If a worn or contaminated parking brake shoe is the cause of a parking brake that slips or won't hold, this shoe replaces the original. Parking brake shoes wear as a set, so inspect and replace both sides together for balanced holding.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this parking brake shoe do?

It presses its friction lining against the inside of the brake drum when the parking brake is applied, helping hold the vehicle stationary while parked.

Which vehicles does it fit?

It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2012 Hyundai Elantra and 2010-2015 Hyundai Tucson. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level applications.

What friction material is used?

The shoe uses a semi-metallic friction lining, bonded or riveted to a carbon steel shoe per OE specifications.

Is mounting hardware included?

Attachment hardware such as levers and pins is included where applicable to the application.

Should I replace both sides at once?

Parking brake shoes wear together, so it's best practice to inspect and replace both sides as a matched set for balanced holding.
