This 100% new shoe uses a carbon steel body dipped in high-temperature anti-rust black paint for corrosion resistance, with semi-metallic friction material bonded or riveted per OE specifications.

Semi-metallic lining: friction material glue-lined and treated to promote a strong bond to the steel shoe.
