Motorad Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Assembly P/N:TA2210
Motorad TA3215 lower engine coolant thermostat housing assembly for the 2000-2003 Lincoln LS 3.9L and other vehicles controls the flow of coolant through the engine with a thermostat.
A coolant leak at the housing, an engine that runs hot or a temperature gauge that reads low can mean this assembly is failing. Before you replace it, rule out a low coolant level (check it only with the engine cool), a leaking hose or a weak water pump, which can look much the same from the driver's seat. One housing goes on each engine.
It also fits the 2002 Ford Thunderbird 3.9L, as a direct-fit replacement.
