Four Seasons 86230 coolant water outlet housing kit for the 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles holds the thermostat and routes coolant out of the engine. The kit replaces the plastic outlet housing and the thermostat in a single repair.
Coolant seepage around the housing, cracked plastic and an engine that runs hotter than normal or is slow to warm up are common signs of wear. These signs alone do not prove this housing is the problem; a leaking radiator hose can show up in the same area.
As a coolant water outlet housing kit with thermostat, it also fits the 2011-2015 Kia Optima 4-cylinder 2.4L and the 2011-2014 Kia Sorento 4-cylinder 2.4L. The 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata 4-cylinder 2.4L takes one kit.
